Foundations of Geography and Environmental Stewardship (Form I–IV)

  • 20 Steps

About

This Geography program builds core geographic literacy for secondary learners through five connected units: geographic thinking and map skills, the physical environment and climate, human systems and community resources, environmental management and sustainability, and fieldwork/applied geographic skills. Learners will practice reading and interpreting maps, explaining how landforms and climate affect local life, analyzing settlement and resource-use patterns, and applying sustainable development and hazard-awareness principles in community contexts. The program emphasizes competence-based learning through short articles, practical activities, and frequent low-stakes quizzes, culminating in a fieldwork-style case study and a final cumulative assessment.
